As someone who has been using this set for a while, I do recommend it whether you be the average cook or the seasoned professional.

The heat distribution on this set is just incredible, as I found out. My friend has a terrible electric range, and I cooked at his house the other day. Would you believe the tuna steak came out perfectly? That's how good these pans are!

I noticed that these pans had a smooth design, and I'll be honest, in the beginning I thought it was just cosmetic, but hen I found that the rounded interior edges actually serve for easy cleaning! Compared to the hours I've spent cleaning up other pants of this nature, these are a godsend! The lifetime warranty alone makes them worth the cost.

The cookware from Calphalon Contemporary is just as good as All Clad or any other line available on the market today. In fact, it's actually better than most.
The heat distribution of these pans is efficient, and you will find that you can actually cook with less power than before while still having great results.

Naturally you an use these pans with any surface whether it be electric coil, flat electric, gas, or even induction.

    * Over time most non-stick pans will lose their surface or even scratch. Thus far, it hasn't happened to these pans.
    * You can use both metal and nylon utensils without fear of melting.
    * Easy to clean.
    * Never buy another cookware set.

Along with the pans I bought the wok, and I have to be honest, I'm thinking of buying a second. With two woks, there's no limit to what I could do! I could take over the world, as soon as Amazon restocks.

What can I say other than that these pans are absolutely wonderful? As one might expect I wasn't happy about switching to stainless after using non-stick for so many years, but these were actually much easier to clean than my previous pans. Unlike lower quality pans, these do not warp under extreme heat, and they cook evenly on my ceramic top stove. The handles are sturdy and the glass lids make it easy to watch the food cook.

I was a little nervous about using stainless steel, but after following the instructions I found that nothing sticks to these pans at all. I've used all the pieces and found that they work brilliantly. I'll be adding more pieces to the collection soon!
