What type of cookware is best for gas stoves?

I’ve recently switched to gas and my cookware gets really gummy at the bottom of my skillets and really burned. I’m not sure why this is happening. I didnt have the problem with electric, but I hate electric stoves.

What is the best cookware for gas. Mainly I have these problems with my wok and skillets. I already have T-fal and Faberware. Any suggestions would be great.

I love cast iron. Add some to your collection. They are great and not that hard to keep up.

    I love cast iron. Add some to your collection. They are great and not that hard to keep up.

    Turn Gas heat down you probably have it on too high.

    That is odd, gas usually burns clean.I had LP gas when I was in my last home, we now have electricity & I hate it! But I found everything worked well with gas,stainless steel, enamel & cast iron etc.
