How to store cutlery in bulk?

I have 600 pieces of silver cutlery (to be used at a wedding later this year) we have just finished washing and polishing it and now need a convenient way to store it without getting in all tarnished again.

Any ideas?

Assuming it really is silver, you need to keep it away from sulfur compounds. A silver chest is the usual answer, but there are also fabrics and sulfur-scavenging papers that can be used.

e.g.: http://www.silverguard.com/c-6-pacific-silvercloth.aspx

Don’t know anything about the silverguard company, but I have used both Pacific Silvercloth and the 3M strips for years.
