A wood stove is a device, which is normally used in the kitchens for the heating of food, keeping it warm and making it palatable. Some antique wooden stoves can be used for the purpose of heating and cooking even today. Wood stoves are used for household cooking needs as well as for heating purposes.

One of the purposes of a wood burning stove was to enclose the fire so to generate more heat and make the heating more efficient. A wood stove is often used for heating rooms or cooking food.

They are made up of cast iron and other strong metals and are sturdy enough to handle the amount of heat generated. A stove uses other sources of fuel to burn and make heat, many use wood or pellets. Wood stoves are also used to heat homes apart from their cooking function. Some come with glass panes that can handle the heat but adds a nice touch when you see the flame.

It is important to know what types of fuel your particular type of burning stove can use and what cannot be used safely. would you buy or read my story?
here is what i got so far i hope it will let me do the whole thing!

    The prairie Dog

Waaaaa, waaaaa. The sounds of the baby woke me from a light sleep. I had to get up and milk the cows and share the sheep. Momma walked into the room that I was in and bounced the baby up and down. She looked at me and smiled a weak smile because she woke up too the sun was just about to rise over the wheat field. Sally and Max were still fast asleep and another hour will be woken for home school. Our little 4 bed room house was relaxing down south with the wood stove for cooking and to keep warm. The milk was cold for the wheat flakes. I went to the field to help Papa after that I met up with Jen she’s my best friend, she lives down the road from me and after she gets out from school we weave baskets together and make yarn for blankets. I put on my apron, bonnet, and my leather boots and walked out the door ready for days work. I when to Lilly Sally’s cow just for a milking and then Heather Max’s cow and made my ways to Laura my cow I pat her and milked her. Then the chickens had to be fed and eggs had to be taken away so they could lay more. Later that night there was a small whimper out side the door I put on my long robe and rushed out. I opened the old wood door as in creaked open. I looked back and forth then back and forth again. I felt a nudge on my leg and I jumped back a little then I looked down and right there was a little puppy in a basket the wind was blowing a card ageist me I picked it up and read it out loud to my self “Hello who ever maybe reading this note I could not leave my puppy out in the winds and rain this looked like a good warm home to keep her. I had to leave town for a long time please watch after her and love her like every day was her last. Thank you.” I picked up the basket and unwrapped the puppy no collar no tag with a name. It was late I cuddled the puppy and slept the night. The next day the rooster woke me up and the first thing I noticed the puppy was gone. Quietly I talked “Puppy…puppy…here puppy…puppy?
I crawled on the floor whispering here puppy, puppy.
Don’t think I didn’t’t see momma as I was crawling I saw a long robe with pink worn out slippers I squinted hard and followed up. I saw momma looking at me like I was crazy she walked away then walked back in “Looking for this?” She said “Woof, woof!” the puppy panted hard and scared in momma’s arms I took the puppy and help her close “ha, ha, ha.” I cleared my throat grabbed the puppy and walked away. “Now what should we call you?” I asked the puppy I held it in my hands “hmmm.” I thought a little then it came to me what I should call her Country! She barked a little and waged her tail I smiled and asked if she liked that name.
Sally came out side dressed in her pink dress and white apron “Meagan who is your little friend?” she said tilting her head to the side I smiled and looked at her softly said “It’s a gift from god”
